Ooooh my!!! I can see how those two marks in the instructions confused a large number of people. Surely iebc officials verbally explaining only to make one mark on the ballot would have avoided this problem??

Reports on twitter seem to suggest that transmission system through the phone is down. Some clerks in kakamega, laikipia etc reporting problems. Looks like the lull in results is being caused by this.

Also by the way, breaking news from the AP, gunmen have taken control of two polling stations close to the somali border
