The defence had already painted the two prosecution witnesses as career witnesses, basically extortion witnesses, witnesses without any credibility. This is the line nguyai is tying to paint i.e when the two mungiki did not get their 3M, they decided to jump to the prosecution side Thats the point but hapa people will interpret the way they want to so that they can feel good about it. “People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. exactly, we all know too well who did nothing as his supporters massacred until he was given nusu mkate. Ocampo already failed. “People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. Langer

I was reading the live text so i missed big chunks. In my view,I think this is a deliberate attempt to have an MP who comes from a Mungiki stronghold come out strongly/openly to say that yes Mungiki exists, yes they made attempt to contact UK,and mention big cash which is supposed to have come from UK through Nguyai but then say that it was hearsay- hence the link is missing. The strategy here seems to be to accept that people retaliated ( a fact) but not to tie UK to it.So sainthood is left out kidogo, paint the picture as it was,but de-link UK hence some credibility. To me it sounds better than saying hajui mungiki Disclaimer: @ Impunity, sio ati niko na kura in the "swing state",i am just giving an opinion so pls don go after my jugular

That was the intention and purpose of having him as a witness. “People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. I also think so coz here is a person confessing that there is mungiki existence but again, fails to link UK. to me,it was a strategy but the most important thing is that no where is mentioned that UK met the jaama. Othaura falls squarely in this category. Please stick to the facts. There has never been such a ceremony in Kenya - ever!! perhaps you are referring to the one conducted at about 5pm...7 hours BEFORE midnight! Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Biggest contribution was drinking phombe and eating mbuzi at the locsl while watching the tally on telly, in open shoes, tshirts and shorts. Kweli au rongo? Life is short. Live passionately.

Why are you stopping them?...it was once considered a 'late afternoon swearing in' ceremony, it slowly moved up the ladder and became a 'night swearing in' ceremony and now its already a 'midnight swearing in'. if they proceed like this it will be an 'early bird' swearing in ceremony next year and a midday swearing in ceremony by 2013. by 2015 it will have reverted back to the late afternoon swearing in ceremony it once was. Ama Impunity wanted to say that it was midnight somewhere on the globe (perhaps china) All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Impunity should do a little reading - Nithi's voter turnout was 79% not even the highest in GEMA land - Othaya had 88%. But all these pale as compared with some certain pockets of Luo nyanza...uliza Kajwang juu ya Mbita, and Ojinga juu ya Bondo e.t.c. for their voter turnouts before speaking. All Mushrooms are edible!
