Does anyone here still think Messi is better than Maradona & Pele ?

yes

Even after he vomited on the field ?Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Ok Jox aside, Argentinians who watched both still do not think Messi is Maradona's equal. “Messi is St. Peter, but Maradona is God,” said Mariano Capretti, 39, whose family owns a clothing factory in Buenos Aires.

At the 1986 World Cup, Maradona scored or assisted on 10 of Argentina’s 14 goals.

depends on what you base your greatness on, a single world cup would be skewed

Messi didn't do it at this world cup, I doubt things will be any better for him in Russia or Qatar!!!!

I don't think Messi will ever lift the world cup, this might be the furthest he will go on that stage, but I think his accomplishments at club level push him up among the greats

The best team won (Germany). The best man won an individual trophy. Messi's brilliance cannot be undone by a World Cup loss, Eusebio, Zico, Cruyff, didn't win a World Cup, but, they brilliance has been cemented in football who is who.
If you stay ready, no need to get ready.

No one denies Messi is an all time great.
If you are saying that Messi is at the level of Cruyff, Eusebio and Zico then you are indeed correct.
Those saying he is better than Maradona and Pele ndio sijui : )

“Thank God, thank God that Germany won, if Argentina had won, they would have made fun of us for years” said Caio Ferraz, 45, a Brazilian looking up at the stars on the legendary beach.

Brazilians and Germans hugged each other, with Europeans saying they wanted their team to win the tournament for their hosts.

“We never want Argentina to win here in Brazil. Never,” said Cassio Conceicao, 51, wearing his beloved Flamengo jersey. “Germany respected us even though they thrashed us.”

Diego Maradona has criticised Fifa for awarding Argentina’s Lionel Messi the Golden Ball award for the World Cup’s best player.

Messi was presented with the award after his country’s 1-0 defeat by Germany in the final in Rio, beating such stellar performers as Arjen Robben, James Rodríguez and Thomas Müller. Despite scoring four goals in seven matches, the Barcelona star was not at his best during the knockout stages and Maradona dismissed the decision as a “marketing plan”.

“Messi? I would give him heaven if possible,” the 1986 World Cup winner said on his television show on Telesur. “But it’s not right when someone wins something that he shouldn’t have won just because of some marketing plan.”

“People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. Langer

Muganda and Pedes,

I am sure I read something about "Konzentration und Fokussierung" in Camp Bahia ,,,,, what I read does not seem to be similar to what I am now reading above.

Oh yes, here it is: http://uk.reuters.com/ar...ss-idUKL6N0PG12920140705

This world cup did not really have any standout performers like Zidane in 1998 or Ronaldo in 2002 or Romario in 1994.
