Anybody in receipt of their KK dividend thus far?

=>have to wait till Wednesday18th May 2011.

Some wazuans appeared confident that the payment date was 11th, May.

=>I also thought so at first but even 18th is not in the business section of the SN's 'the week ahead'

I think KK's dividend payout date is 18 May 2011

Our KK guru could mistake such an important date? Ama ni controvesy unatafuta? LOL! Haiya boss, there U have it then. Lolest!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Let me clarify:

- The 'dispatch' date for chqs is around 16 May 2011
- Most folks will receive it starting 18th May 2011 [by the time posta delivers]

If you have RTGS, will you receive it earlier?

The only way Nock can be a threat to KK is if MOE,KPC,KPRL offer it preferential treatment which goes against free market.

I think KK can still offer cheap fuel but by so doing it would give KPRL,MOE and KPC a reason to continue with their inefficiency.

The current price hikes I believe are caused by OMC trying to fight speculators as well as NOCK who continue to enjoy govt subsidies and support at the expense of other marketers.

IF the playing field was leveled NOCK will obviously find it hard to compete with established brands like KK.

NOCK gets implicit & explicit subsidies from GoK. If NOCK can compete mano-a-mano with KK, then let them!

I want cheap(er) fuel & the only firm that has CONSISTENTLY complained about KPC & KPRL inefficiencies is KK. So I respect KK who have exposed KPRL & KPC's inefficiencies!

No-one cared. Many (stupid) Kenyans even blamed KK for all the problems in the Oil Sector. Many (stupid) Kenyans bought the explanations by GoK/MoE.

That started changing when Triton hit. Pure theft. Yet we saw some GoK officials BURY their heads in the sand. Why? Coz they were COMPROMISED.

After forcing KK to toe the line with KPRL. Again many (stupid) Kenyans were against KK for fighting KPRL for highlighting the 'losses'. Then there is KPC as well... KK warned about the problems & then as Kenyan taxpayers we were on the hook for billions!

I like that KK are going into real estate. Thats quite a buffer for their oil business. At 9.30 price today i am now aiming for at least 13 in 2 years. At that point Ill be content with my investment and move on. If I do not hit that target at that time I will count my losses and invest elsewhere.

More signs that things are not rosy for the OMCs. How I wish KK was to produce quarterly reports like Total did
