Who will fuel the cars?Who will maintain and repair them?Do they have green number plates or are they GK vehicles? Was there an open tender? Will they be used by senior officers on their own errands? Are they a priority since Kambas are known to be honest or will they be used to enforce Mututho laws?Arethey really a priority for Machakos or is it one of his PR stunts?

He should deal with the causes not the symptoms. Thus he should create employment to reduce crime not buying 2 patrol cars for every village ....and menacing dogs. That is where he started. He gave them seeds, tuchuis, tractors etc. Wacha walime sasa. @Washiku. that is why i say Dodo being a prof in communication and having worked at GoK knows the power of smoke screens. Who wants seeds when Rain is 50/50? who wants tuchuis when feeds and market is 50/50 Alfie should have concentrated on infrastructure first.. 200 vehicles is roughly 200million bob. enough for a standard tarmac road. Then with the unpredictable rains. Boreholes should be first.Have you checked how the Agric counters are beating the current bear run? Nairobi is asking to be fed. Machakos is near Nairobi and has vasts lands. foodstuff from there would be sustainable income for the county. I have driven to Mwala and Yatta and beyond. 200 cars is a waste.

We should not just be happy with quantity but also quality!!! ...Bro...nobody from Machakos has stopped Rasanga from purchasing Limousines...This is what the residents of Machakos want and they have no problem with it. How I understand it, the cars will just be stationed in the police stations in the villages, just in case... To bolster the national security which is not a devolved function. People, the police are not only there to deal with theft because crime si theft tu. There's traffic violations, sexual violations, violations of licences(did u see the inspectorate cars)etc "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

Wacha wivu, boss. Just go there with an un-roadworthy vehicle, violate traffic laws or attempt a ka-theft / start a fracas in public. Then you will see who will be driving the cars when you are pulled over! We should be applauding this guy at EVERY turn and pushing our governors (Nairobi county + your parent's home county) to do the same. I'm actually planning to attend some functions in my "upcountry" county to start prompting this very healthy debate!
