Uhuru's address.

His tone is that of someone aware of the road ahead....but with a tone that instills some fear.

Welcome to the real no-nonsense Uhuru in the second term.

Very necessary.

All his people voted for Uhuru, all of them, the SC decision was political, and in politics there are no permermanent enemies or friends.

If they annul it again, it will be an all out war. They have to think of consequences and public good. Country has to move forward. Maraga should not even entertain these petitions.

On the flipside NRM/NASA will totally be deflated if this election is upheld.

There's nothing to annul. The constitution was followed to the letter. IEBC got an A+ this time.
I hope baba will let the children of Kenya do their exams in peace not pieces.

But on that note, would the education CS postpone KCSE and KCPE in Luo Nyanza if the boycott are extended to include the examination council or they will be inconsequential for the region like voting? I feel sad for this region, I know they have not been treated well by successive governments but they don't help much by self-sabotaging the area.

BBI will solve it

In 2013, the us CJ made an official private swearing in of Obama, followed by a symbolic public for the wanjikus, if you know about BILLS, kama umesoma about bills, you may understand why a swearing in can be facilitated asap and the one of Uhuru park, later, the official one is the most important, and if Uhuru, Justin Muturi na Maraga wakiweka kidole, hii bill inapita na pesa inatoka, that is the REAL swearing in jinga wewe!Uhuru can be sworn in SECRET na hukauna kitu utafanya, wewe unasign hizo docs wapi ama nikuona video na drama tu kama mjinga, kumbaff wewe. For your information when the three ascent to a common bill, weka katiba kando!

Wacha uongo. US sio Kenya. Our katiba is clear on HOW and WHEN the swearing in should be done.

141. ASSUMPTION OF OFFICE OF PRESIDENT
Parent Category: Chapter Nine - The Executive

(1) The swearing in of the President-elect shall be in public before the Chief Justice, or, in the absence of the Chief Justice, the Deputy Chief Justice.
(2) The President-elect shall be sworn in on the first Tuesday following--

(a) the fourteenth day after the date of the declaration of the result of the presidential election, if no petition has been filed under Article 140; or
(b) the seventh day following the date on which the court renders a decision declaring the election to be valid, if any petition has been filed under Article 140.

(3) The President-elect assumes office by taking and subscribing the oath or affirmation of allegiance, and the oath or affirmation for the execution of the functions of office, as prescribed in the Third Schedule.
(4) Parliament shall by legislation provide for the procedure and ceremony for the swearing-in of a President-elect.

But they can and they might. They may vote politically.

If the swearing in falls on Saturday according to naswa calculations, will they force Maraga to go swear in, he will sign the papers on Friday and send mwilu to show some funny objects to the crowd, watu wengine, kila kitu ni shida na makelele na problems, complaints e.t.c, sasa mambo na swearing in, swearing in can be any place any time, Queen Elizabeth of England was "sworn in" up a tree in Nyeri.

Looks like any Tuesday because if supreme court declares the election valid tomorrow, they can swear in the same Tuesday because of the coincidence or the next one in which case naswa will argue it should have been the other, any Tuesday, what is the "first" Tuesday, hata kesho ni Tuesday, so we don't know when the swearing in will by katiba, only they can decide.

Naswa will simply pick a different Tuesday and swear in Raira on their Tuesday which they will say is the "constitutional" one through a little mischief na hatutalala Kenya hii tena, just swear in "officially" immediately and ceremoniously any Tuesday even tomorrow, deal with the small other issues later.
