Russian stocks have crashed by 11% of its value today alone due to threat of sanctions from U.S. People are dumping stocks as they fear retaliation over Ukraine crisis. The value of the drop is about 58,000,000,000 USD. This is more than what was spent in organizing Sochi olympics. Imagine the losses if sanctions are initiated.
Putin must back down and beg for forgiveness.

Point. The US does not need to fight any physical wars. All they need is make it difficult for Russians to do business with them through financial institutions and mobility. That will kill their currency and Putin's own people will take him out.

How many times is he slapping these sanctions? 10 days keep watching...eem...9 now its AM in that part of the world.

Isnt it funny that US invaded Afghanistan & Iraq on false pretenses (chemicals of mass destruction), ousted the presidents of the time and occupied it and right now esp for Afghanistan they are forcing Karzai to sign a agreement for them to stay longer...so what is wrong if Russia invades and takes back crimea? France has been doing the same in Africa

@murchr I advise you leave @harrydre alone.... he is so much west he cannot see things in black and white!!

I am not pro west at all..many a times I have criticized them, the thing is Putin is a dangerous man and I rather he stays away. So on this specific issue, i am with kasin barry.
i.am.back!!!!

You say the man is dangerous bcoz the west says so. Putin has never used weapons to killl anyone, all hes doin is to protect his countrys interest.

Wahl shaving Putin.

Cnn is pushing Western agenda and RT is doing the same for its country.

These Americans want to lord over the world.

What are they doing in Afghanistan/Pakistan? Aren't those sovereign states thousands of miles away? Yet Russia can't be allowed to protect itself from its neighbor.

A time will come!

I don't know why I'm unable to takw sides in this conflict but it reminds me of French involvement in Africa where French troops have been openly involved in regime change. The recent one is CIV. The world has alwauys said nothing!

Improvements in fracking technology, and new techniques of directional drilling since the millennium, have turned the United States into the world’s largest natural gas producer, brought prices down, and prompted many coal- and oil-fired industries to switch to gas. American port terminals originally designed to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) are now being modified to facilitate exports, and a growing surplus may start to find its way to Europe, reducing Europe’s dependence on Russia.
Once the dust settles, Putin will be finished in international politics.

They have to amend the law first because currently as we chat today there's a law that prohibits export of crude etc etc. And even if the law is amended at how much will it be priced given that it has to be transported across the atlantic to get to EU? Whistle Whistle

The US still doesn't have enough energy, many commercials and documentaries will tell you that they do but do you think the debate on the Keystone pipeline would be there if they believed that they had enough to run their economy?
