After listening to Wambora on Cheche i have reason to believe there's more than meets the eye here. I have a few questions, can Senate convict anyone of an offense? Does the senate have any capabilities of finding out that indeed the seeds were procured by the county govt were "fake"?. This is what the constitution says
Quote:
(A county governor may be removed from office on any of the following grounds–– a) gross violation of this Constitution or any other law; (b) where there are serious reasons for believing that the county governor has committed a crime under national or international law; (c) abuse of office or gross misconduct; or (d) physical or mental incapacity to perform the functions of office of county governor.
1. What constitutes a "gross violation", "a crime" and "a gross misconduct"? 2. Who declares/validates that they (governors) have violated the laws above? 3. Didn't the senators jump the gun if they acted on allegations rather than proven facts?

gross violation can be just about anything. the constitution allows for the mcas and the senate to remove a governor from office. thus in reality it's a political process in this instance. not a judicial one where the burden of proof would be higher.

I read the constitution and its says that parliament shall create a "process" which i think is the mca impeachment and then the senate bla bla. But either way parliament did not give the mcas or senate powers to prosecute one can only be found guilty in a court process.

Can't he just let go? HIGH COURT rules that embattled Embu Governor Martin Wambora will remain in office until a case filed by some county residents is determined
