on point, probably B.Timer needs to be our AG now that he is the guru of the rule of law huh!!!

Some people have never recognized nor realized that we have the National Acord!!!

Probably so.
However I still hold to my position.

I am not sure though, that all those people agree that Marende interpreted the law correctly.
Most seem to applaud him on account of having managed to deflate the balloon of tension that had grown.

He even alluded to it himself,- that it would be unwise to take the route the law leans on!!. Rather he chose to go by what he called the reality of the time.

I dont know if in UK or USA for that matter, they side step the law to feed the prevailng public mood.

Kalonzo.....oops B.Timer kiongozi kutoka mashariki, power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Do not be too concerned about positions be concerned of the people who elected you in Eastern province.

They need boreholes, big dams to irrigate their farms .Right now food is required there like yesterday...Forget about national politics for now .. ........do what is supposed to be done and the Kingdom of statehouse will automatically come to you. Makosa ilifanyika( 2008) lakini you can be forgiven.

I wish your success would be measured by the number of boreholes or dams you construct...that would be real .....not the position you held in government ...or parliament

Thanks,

(incase you are not Kalonzo I know you have access to him tell him that )

When guys hit their wits end, they start throwing mud all over.
This is about considered opinion by informed bloggers.

Evaluate your position.

Reforms is about amending laws in line with peoples aspirations and changing dynamics.
Question is will anybody adhere to those laws. Do you have a duty to demand that public office holders respect the law.
If they dont, then why bother doing the reforms.

We must develop a culture of obeying the law.

I strongly support the ruling though it was a temporary reprieve but for different reasons ! Why do you think ODM wanted to chair the HBC ? I would rather dwell on the future than on the past ! My take is that MK has been using Kalonzo and Kilonzo to suppress reforms in parliament by sweeping under the carpet popular motions which are geared towards changes yet the PNU fraternity wants the status quo rightly or wrongly thinking that things will favour them if they remain the way they are ! My take is that they are repugnant to reforms. But deep inside i seriously think that PNU would have been pushing for reforms like yesterday because i would hate to have RAO,Ruto,Kalonzo,Karua,as a President with the current powers and privileges ! I think we have all seen some flashes of the worst sides of all these guys ! It would be suicidal for some people,if they have been deemed to have had their unfair share of the national cake since independence and under the new dispensation, the winner eats all constitution is still in place ! Guys lets be honest and open with ourselves because if we are not,we shall be forced by circumstances to be,sooner or not so later ! We need reforms and constant changes in our government, period !

Kalonzo.......B.timer. I might have brought up an irrelevant issue to you ... It may appear as if i'm throwing mud at you,but that is the really on the ground if they don't tell you.

@ Kenn,

You are worried that the powers could land in the hands of the following.

Rao,Ruto,Kalonzo,Karua

Is the above order worst to worse?

Are you currently worried, with the powers in the hands of President Kibaki?

@Kenn,I completely agree with you on the need for reforms.

I don't think anyone (even Obama) would make a good president with our current laws.
