...That ODM is still the most popular party with RAO as the most popular candidate could be a fact. So how does UK beat him in a re-run? If anything UK is the one candidate RAO really wishes to face off with; what of behind the scenes dark slogan of ''a kikuyu cannot succeed kikuyu''... (the 41 vs 1 formula). I see the hand of ODM schemers in this poll.They want to propel UK to higher heights in the campaigns thus massaging his esteem n ego to a point that he becomes arrogant and uncooperative to his bedfellows in the paper tiger called G7.Thus no amount of pressure from certain quarters can force him bow down for some one else. The ultimate design being to have UK all the way to the finish line with the assumption of facing RAO in 2nd round. At the same time, the schemers are working out to ensure that MM's star doesn't shine brightly in the public eye.More than any other candidate, MM remains RAO's biggest poll nightmare who must at all cost not be 'allowed' to enter 2nd round.
The other ODM catch is that those who always accuse the party of infiltrating opinion polls will now start BELIEVING in them since 'our' man is apparently winning.

@MADE that is the truth and the strategy seems to be working . Remember Kenyans vote on tribal lines hii mambo ya generation ni upuuzi . Remember a certain politician wondering kwani clan zingine haziwezi kuzaa president .
Peace be with you

UK can't beat Pamba in a run-off...it will come down to 41 against 1 just like last elections especially when a Kikuyu president is leaving office. bad timing for UK. The threat right now is MaDvD or whoever UK endorses!!

I think its now clear the ru-off will be bewteen OAR vs MaDVD. This will not be the first time UK has been forced to endorse someone else so i really don't get it when people say he won't do so especially now when he has unfinished business with the ICC. What i do not expect is any major endorsements to be made before the run-off.

Now tell me TAZ, how does the run-off get to be between Raila and MaDVD if the endorsement is not before the run-off, I keep telling you guys that MaDVD only makes it to the run-off without a prior endorsement...FACT!!!

This 41 against one may not work this time round. Kibaki would have beaten RAO without contest if SKM was not in the race in 07. If anything, this election will be decided by WR IMO.

The poll was through phone interviews of 2,000 people!! Why phone interview? That is biased sampling

And some reliable gutter press allege that senior Ipsos managers had night meetings with a top presidential contender just before the results were released.

@Lucid, you say it Lucidly!

Even with the 41-1 tactic, Pamba is beaten without WR. The thinking that WR people will vote for Pamba is far fetched. Pamba is clutching at straws now, only WR can save him Sad
