@hardwood @newfarer Quote:WRONG assumptions people are making in politics:. 1. Raila will never be president. WRONG. He might win coming elections. 2. Uhuru cannot win unless he rigs coming elections. WRONG. He has numerous followers too and can win fairly. 3. Only Kikuyus and Kalenjins will vote for Uhuru. WRONG. We know this is wrong. 4. No Kikuyus support Raila Odinga. WRONG. Raila enjoys support from all Kenyans, it does not matter the proportions across the tribes. 5. If Raila wins it is a Kenyan occupying statehouse. If Uhuru wins it is a Kikuyu occupying state house. WRONG. Both are Kenyan citizens. 6. Current government is so tribal favoring only Kikuyus and Kalenjins. WRONG. Evidence does not support that as we have numerous other people from different tribes employed by the same government. Besides, millions of Kikuyus and Kalenjins are not even employed by that government! 7. Presidency does not belong to Kikuyus and Kalenjins only. WRONG. Either way, what prevents you from seeking the presidency? Whoever wins enjoys the support of the majority. How the majority comes into it, is all debatable. 8. Kikuyus are more privileged than other tribes. WRONG. Kikuyus hustle like the rest of Kenyans to earn a living so if you are poor, chances are it is your own problem. 9. A Kikuyu supporting Uhuru is due to tribalism. WRONG. It is just a coincidence they both share same tribe. But on the same note, how sure are you that a Luo supporting Raila is not due to tribalism? 10. “Raila is better than Uhuru so elect him. Uhuru is better than Raila so elect him. “ All these statements are wrong. We all know people will support who among the two they feel has better policies for Kenya and trust me, both groups are right. So just vote for your favorite person and STOP hating those who do not support your favorite candidate. Lastly, if someone hates Uhuru Kenyatta it does not mean he hates Kikuyus, if someone hates Raila Odinga it does not mean he hates Luos. Please separate issue based individualism from tribes. May peace prevail in Kenya.
