I'm assuming recce company = atu = radiation squad etc. Volunteers confirm armed forces other than kenyan on scene, but say they didnt go in. Pls dont shoot me, correct me if in wrong. Business opportunities are like buses,there's always another one coming

Rem at some period they werent engaged at all...or could have easily let two guys deal with the forces while the rest cornered and kept an eye in the hostaged... possunt quia posse videntur

This recce i believe are 'presidential guards' they are usually seconded to guard visiting heads of states and are "hyped' as an elite unit. Of course they killed that thug in buru buru, but for this job? talk of ATU Ras Kienyeji Man

Recce coy are a GSU sub-unit. ATPU is a regular police unit. TULIA.........UFUNZWE!

If Uhuru did not have "good grounds" for re-organizing his security team, now he has more than enough grounds. They have been doing very badly on many issues, including internal security, traffic etc...this should be treated as the last straw. He should be decisive. Even if its for instilling confidence in the country that he took action. If nothing changes, Al shabaab will come again, and will do worse things. Quick wins: Check on the entry-points operations, Intelligence gathering and how the same is used... For him to change things at the boarders and such other areas, its very simple, just get a few "mystery shoppers" to fly in, "buy their way in", pass a few "weapons" and use that to get the real things that goes on there. For this he need not even involve his senior security chiefs...because I have this feeling they are so so so part of the rot.

waa, and I always thought to myself how can the americans be confused about sijui, moon landing, ufo's, jfk assassination, such that they end up having up so many conspiracy theories.
now I am very confused by an event that seemed to have been covered by all sorts of media channels, at least up to Saturday evening. I have seen some showing cops on the roof top and rescuing people on all floors of the mall on Saturday evening. 3 days latter + a stronger bigger force ?
guess whatever happened after that will be thrown into the conspiracy theories dust bin, at least it will provide good fodder to bloggers, book writers and movie guys, if at all we have any in kenya
