i blame myself
for voting in people like me
who steal cheat kill and lie for me
like me
who worship self interest over me
who cause chaos as they live
who seek opportunities and ask for bribes
so that they can employ me and my kin
i give to them what they ask
sex, money, support
in their endeavors for more money, power and glory
the politicians, the executives, the imams, the clergy, the bosses, ME
we are to blame
for this endless cycle that has been and will be

Blame game galore. Apportioning blame is a favourite activity for Kenyans. Has is it ever helped here or anywhere? I would have expected the learned here in Wazua to be different instead of joining the bandwagon of police corruption, Ole Lenku, the goverment, Uhuru etc.
In my opiion, when facing a crisis the first thing is not to first look on someone to blame but rather identify the 5W's & H. (Who, What, When,Where, Why & How)

1. Who is responsible for the attacks
2. What is causing the attacks
3. When did they start
4. Where is it happening
5. Why is it happening
6. How are the attacks being carried out

But no, we all want to point fingers and feel smart about it.

Terrorism as @ Tycho has pointed out has never been succesfuly dealt with anywhere. The reason its called so is because everyone is unable to predict and firmly deal with such tactics being employed and the sooner we change our mindsets then we can trully start understanding what is going on around us.

Like i said...... IF EVER IN DOUBT FOLLOW THE MONEY!

My self i don't blame the policeman
after all he is my brother and sister
living in the same environment we have created.

I don't blame the politician after all
i voted him in
i allowed him to steal and cheat in my name
he is a reflection of what i would like to be

I don't blame the Kenya army
after all its their duty to obey orders without Question!

I don't blame the 'D's cause they have a right to live and work just like anyone else

Have you noticed we always assume its the
al shabab
the Muslims
the Somalis
without any evidence proffered??

why?

Have you noticed since the west gate bombing
al shabab has not taken responsibility for further bombings in kenya?

As Tycho asked who truly is our enemy??

Exaclty my point, Kenyans waache ujuaji, this thing might not be what we think it is. We are busy blaming police and the government while what we actually need to do is step back and think about it for a minute.

Yesterday, I was attending some private gathering and I heard only in passing what had gone on. I have just brought myself up to speed.

Do you want 'him' to come and tell you, "Jokes, it was us, him, him and I do did this."? Don't you think you are taking your doubting thomas-ness too far to the realm of incredible and unhelpable incredulity?
