That applies to CORD as well ....RAO will be beating the drum for Kidero I presume. I am not for any of the 2 leading coalitions in the general order of things but between Waititu and Kidero, Kidero has my vote. So the Cord masses and middle class from both sides. CORD has played this one superbly, TNA has been shown dust.

I still insist that Jimnah Mbaru will be on the ballot come 4th March. YT2 might not have what it takes to be Governor but TNA still needs him because of the support he has huko mashinani......i don't think they can just kick him out kama Wanjiru. BTW I wouldn't be surprised if one of them defects to Ngilu's Narc.

the tribal and party vote is too close to call. The people who use their head will decide this 1 and I dont see them going for YT2

I wonder why people think it's only the middle class that votes with it's head. One may be intelligent/intellectual but not necessarily wise. Hata hapa wazua, we've seen the party/tribal lines drawn. The poor man has his own reasons for choosing whomever s/he decides, and if s/he chooses your least preferred candidate, why blame them? That's why it's called democracy. Kila mtu na kura yake.

It can never be a tragedy to have yt2 as governor for 5 years if that is what democracy says. 5years is less than a drop in the ocean in the time scale of eternity

@simonkabz, What happened?
We need PK and a good Nairobi governor. Is YT2 a good candidate? Coz i have serious doubts about the direction this Nairobi will be hurled.
If Jubilee clinches the presidency, we'll have the top three men in the republic making court appearances.
I guess with that, vision2030 will come early, lets say 2015 and we'll all drink and dance to that.
Again i ask,what happened?

I agree. 'Democracy' is everyone looking after their own interests. No one is 'smarter'.
