And the ICC appeal court upheld the decision. The otp and judges are in cahoots, they are joined at the hip. These cases will go through all the stages - my hunch.

how do you force a witness to testify? he/she will do more damage to your case than before! the guy gets on stage and start saying he was paid! recants everything that is 'in writing' and says he was paid to say it and that he has never been anywhere close to the suspect - anamwonanga tu kwa TV. halafu? how does that help your case? if no single witness is saying what you want them to say. think about it - forcing witnesses to testify is like using up your witness slots building the accussed case! these witnesses are his witnesses and they are on your time. Bado accussed hawajaanza kuleta witnesses wao.

@Masukum, I am not a lawyer, but its no rocket science here pure logic. The OTP and court suffer when they force witnesses to testify. The damage right now is so massive to the OTP its irreparable, now the court wades in this matope d'oh! d'oh!

I remember saying this here before

By this time, we now know the 2 questions ICC asks themselves before making a ruling or other major decisions by OTP: will this decision lead to increased work load, hence more funding, or will it lead to reduced work load and thus less or no justification for increeased funding? This informs otp request 4 undefined postponement 4 kamwana's case. Same 4 victims lawyer. The paradox is that if these cases are not gonna end soon, the more we will keep the duo in power. Even term limit can be abolished

The judges will believe the otp coz in their minds, the accused are guilty. Just look at the number of pple following them around, any of them could have been used by the accused. Even without the paper trail, the resources came from them. I do not see any other they would act in the manner that they have.
I care!

He paid off the investigators not to get 'real' witnesses. Also made sure he was one of the six as a campaign strategy. Very bright chap!
