Bharti Airtel, the parent company of Airtel Africa has finally announced its in the process of exiting Kenya, Rwanda & Tanzania markets citing sustained losses over the years hence depressing its income from the continent.

Airtel denies plans to exit Kenya and cites it's interested in mergers and acquisitions to bolster it's business...

Merger with who in kenya?

That's a tough question

I have no idea of Airtel's intentions locally...

Sometimes I see them like they are desperately looking for an exit and other times they are just stubborn in accepting they don't have what it takes to successfully challenge Safcom...

But it seems they're serious with the Tigo Rw proposed acquisition in consolidating the sector...

Let's hope the High court ruling in airtel's favour be a considerable motivation going forward...

Helios Partner also are very keen in acquisitions beyond Kenya. Recently they expressed interest is purchasing former Etisalat Nigeria currently 9mobile...

Airtel is also among the shortlisted possible buyers of 9mobile...

Airtel, Helios Partners among the shortlisted potential buyers of the ailing 9mobile Nigeria...

A lot of negative news about safaricom on social media, adverts by Airtel and Telkom on kuhama promotions.

Telkom has the brains and financial muscle to kick out Airtel and nibble on Safaricom. The heavy lifting will be in creation of an agency network
