Who is financing her???

Do you need to be financed even when the erection act is very clear?.....and here is what it states;

political party shall not change the candidate nominated after the nomination of that person has been received by the commission. The High Court cannot in its judgment ignore this express and explicit provision of the law,

Is she(Ndetei) going this far to protect the law or to show us who is in charge?
What will she gain if the CORD is locked out and Mwau or Urbanus takes the seat instaed?
d'oh!

If nothing else, she will have given "reform" a new meaning. AKo na Shakra!Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

A point of reference.Kajiado county gubernatorial seat.TNA candidate was disqualified for not having the right papers past the 45 days period. No replacement was allowed despite the party pleading ignorance.

So IEBC did not know the law when giving this JR the clearance?? Who is fooling who??

We discussed this in detail and il repeat...

You are forgetting something very
important... The Elections Act is not an
end to itself...
Wiper were given the power to
nominate an alternative candidate
PURSUANT TO A RULING OF COURT.
Unless and until that decision is set
aside the provisions of the political
Parties Act and Elections Act have no
application...
Let them go to the Court of Appeal
and if they so wish try and overturn
that decision. I will tell you for free
they won't succeed...
Constitutionalism demands equal
protection under the law.
The High Court ruled and rightly if I
may add that it would be unfair for
the people of Makueni to be
disenfranchised on the basis of the
actions of one person.
That is especially if the party
concerned could not have been
proved to have participated in the
violation of the electoral code...

I am lost on this one.

MKJ's name is missing on the ballot, IEBC orderd the printing before the pending case was determined!!!

They are printed in the UK and people still say the IEBC is up to the task am sure the company will charge again for the new printing....coz it aint their fault....wastage of public resources if you ask me...

"The Independent Electoral and
Boundaries Commission (IEBC) had
ordered over 300,000 ballot papers
from Smith & Ouzman, which were
expected in Nairobi on Monday"

Can the law allow them to print some in Riverory?

At this rate they should...

...now I hear IEBC is considering asking voters who want to vote for MKJ to write his name on the ballot!!!!Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
