I hope sane Kenyans are not excited about this and judging from reactions all over, everyone understands safaricom future looks stormy. The proverbial guard is down and at the helm we most likely have a puppet who is good only at marketing and selling beer. GoK already leading 1-0 after getting their way with a Kenyan CEO they have salivated for. You can only expect many more goals to come for the goons due to arm twisting and under the table deals we wont know about till its too late. We must realise safaricom have lost the first battle here and this appointment was not purely on merit, the man (as good as he may be) has no experience in this field and is here to be someones pawn.
Anyways, the stock price should speak for itself. Expectations tommorrow?
