Do you know how many people watch news in Kenya? 4,738,000 in a country of 47million, More people watch Maria on Citizen than news from the whole stations combined. Working smart is working with data.

Nation is evolving into a fresh new brand on all channels, but with a mobile-first mindset and with the versatile African youth in focus.

They should have done this long time ago, trying to play catch up now will be hard. Traditional media (radio, tv, newspaper, billboards etc.) has been losing ground.

The traditional media ad revenues have been dwindling in the last ten years while digital ad revenues have been going up globally.

Evolution of nation media should have started with changing the old guard and replacing with people with young innovative ideas.
