The idea of a 'police investigation' appears good. But remember NASA principal one already implicated them in the 'vote stealing plot'. Imported investigators and 'judges' may be required. Timelines in the constitution do not favour this route either. What to do?

1. The standards of proof are not so difficult to understand and implement

2. NASA allegations against the investigating body need to be counteracted if at all citizens are to retain confidence in our institutions

3. The constitution of the investigating body may be of such a nature that NASA interests are well taken care of

So we don't have to struggle with time lines if there's goodwill from all sides.

So who in your opinion should take up the case?
I am happy

I, for one, would not take up such a perilous job.
I care!

I know this will bring joy to a good number of wazuans.

Feel free to pop the champagne.

What is happening to you boss. Why would anyone celebrate the death of a kid? It's dangerous what politics does to us honestly.
I think am losing my mind. The image of a 6-month old baby with a cracked skull hanging on to dear life in an ICU ward and finally passing on makes me sick. But i doubt you would understand.

He's lost it completely!
Doing all else but challenging the one who holds the key to stop all these unnecessary confrontations which inevitably result in deaths and injuries.

I agree with you 100%. If only Samantha had heeded the govt order and stayed at home instead of engaging the GSU on the streets.

Tomorrow the "revered enigma" will probably call for another round of confrontations knowing all too well that it will likely result in some deaths and injuries.

Lolest!

I doubt anybody would celebrate the death of that child. Maybe mawinder if the kid was 'these people'...but no, I doubt even mawinder can.

Man, those who did this ought to be prosecuted, but accusing people of celebrating this very painful death is in bad taste

What a sadist you are!

I put it to you that you are an enemy of the Luo nation.

Stop pretending here that you are championing their interests when in actual fact all you do is misadvise and posture to capitalize on their blood.

You postured as though you were supporting their candidate but excessive salivation for goodies led you to betray your real intentions – revealing the scheming Sungura in you. And what do NASA people accuse Kikuyus of again – aren’t you unwittingly confirming their accusations.

Today you can pretend all you want to be what you are not, but many can see through your smokescreen - not standing up as a real friend of the people of Kisumu the county of baby Pendo.

If these riots were happening in your backyard at Nyeri you would be in the forefront calling for their immediate cessation in order to forestall further loss of life and property and injuries.
But since it is happening to them, you can afford to focus on side issues – police blah blah blah – while tacitly appearing to egg the youths on.

I would not be surprised after you ‘make such appearances’ taking a people for a ride in the most sadistic manner, you turn around and beam a grin, satisfied how cunning you can be!

Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

I wonder what this mascarader is hoping to gain by capitalizing on this sad case of baby Samantha.

He pretended to have accepted the loss and even sent a personal statement. Kumbe its shock that had gripped him.Now anger has set in.
If its a job you are looking for from NASA look for it using other means not this.Nobody can celebrate death of anybody let alone an innocent child.

NASA at crossroads - its a tag of war between a wing that wants street battles, and another that favours non confrontation and is wary of visa bans.
Quote:
At the same time, the United States described the elections as fair and transparent, further cementing international and local observers’ affirmation that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win was credible.
The Donald Trump-led administration called on Kenyans to maintain peace and resolve disputes through courts

A source who attended Tuesday’s meeting said Nasa principals were divided over the next course of action, with one group preferring a call to mass action to push their cause while another was opposed to such a move.
The anti-mass action group was of the view that they should avoid a confrontational approach that might lead to deaths and injuries, which will be ultimately blamed on them.
They also argued that such an approach, besides being sure to achieve very little, will take away any support they have from the international community.

We should look at the bigger picture. And that is that the buck stops with baba. If he had conceded defeat, in the election which even his pay masters have deemed as being free and fair, Baby Samantha would be alive today. If he had conceded in 2007, the kids burnt at Kiambaa church would be alive today plus the 1300 who died. But for baba he uses lives as pawns in his political chess game. For baba the higher the body count the better for him, the higher the bargaining power. He doesnt care about us kenyans, all he cares about is himself and acquisition of power.
