Actually, and it's very funny, it may not be bad at all for United. These bad results will force the United hierachy to get rid of dead wood. For United to remain a global supremo, money will definitely be poured, premium contracts with new players signed. Moyes will be given a war chest. Had we been getting good results, the dead wood would have remained. It's time for these mediocre players to go. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I totally agree, hata with that War chest they would still have to compete with clubs such as PSG, Monaco, Man City, Chelsea and the two La liga giants in the transfer market.

I totally agree, hata with that War chest they would still have to compete with clubs such as PSG, Monaco, Man City, Chelsea and the two La liga giants in the transfer market. First, we need to qualify for Champions League! If we don't, then things will become much tougher for us in the transfer market. Not impossible, but tough! Second, we need a top notch scouting department. We should not be going for Cavanis, Falcaos, Bales and Messis of this world. That is where the competition and obscene money is!! We need some diamonds in the rough! Scout all over the world and get talented players no one has noticed and bring them over. Wenger has been very good in that over the years and that is how he developed Arsenal to a feeder club - A net selling club! Take unknown players who actually turn out to be very good and the City and Barcelona come knocking! Only that Man United will not be a feeder club!! Two things: Qualify for CL and invest heavily in a scouting network that spreads all the way to Karachuonyo! There are teams that even have part time scouts. You get a nice player, send the team videos if they like what they see they organize to watch him playing and/or invite him for trials and if they sign him you get a hell load of money - imagine getting £200,000/= just because you alerted a team about a great player who plays for Mafuko Bombers - and that is not even your real job in the first place! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

The big question is, which top or aspiring quality player would want to come and play for united under Moyes? Mark Hughes hadn't won anything as a manager when he was appointed Man City boss. Yet, he was able to sign the likes of Vincent Kompany, Carlos Tevez, Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott, Nigel de Jong, Wayne Bridge, Robinho amongst others for nearly 240m pounds. Man City weren't even in the Champions League. Give players good contracts, pay a premium fee, they'll still come, especially when they know they can establish themselves as United's starting XI. You can't say Spurs have a better appeal than the Red Devils, yet they brought in the likes of Eriksen, Paulinho, etc. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Tonight, Moyes will prove his critics wrong and be the first team to qualify for next season's Europa Cup. In David Moyes i TRUST. Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune - Jim Rohn.

Even in such a small cup and at home, Man U still takes the game to extra-time. Surely, how low! In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later - H Geneen

Sunderland scored only two penalties and the Great Man-U could not match that. Unbelievable!
