Obare looked very comfortable in her heat with Allison Felix, I hope she pulls off an upset and beats her and Pryce in the final, or even the beautiful Ahoure to win it. An African winning the 200M women's final will be EPIC!

Kemboi talks big but always shows up in the big stage, much like Bolt. He's surely the G.O.A.T of steeplechase.I was very much impressed by Obiri, we always struggle in the 1500 women's.

Hiyo 1500M Women iliniumiza sana, yaani that Swedish winning in 4:02 when our young girl Faith has run 3:56 this year but I agree Obiri really impressed.

The 200M Women final will be a delight.....Obare-Ahoure-Allyson-Pryce!!!!

I am shocked at Nancy Jebet Langat's form - She can d
surely do better than that. its like they swapped places with Obiri.

However - at the end of the day we tie at no 2. with 3 golds, 3 silvers and i think 3 bronze

so far africa has 16 medals with kenya contributing 50% with eight medals Applause Applause ethiopia 5 nigeria 1 bostwana 1 and ivory coast 1.
will probaly come down to the mens marathon with mo taking 5000men ,defar 5000 women and kiprop 1500..

the 1500 ladies was very tactical, I thought the kenyans especially obiri was boxed in for the better part of the race and trying to move to the outside towards the home stretch proved a little bit hard - Faith is still young with some experience she might be the one to watch in the near future.

When running that 3.56,Faith was still second to Aregawi ,the Olympic gold last year was going to be Aregawi's until she tripped .Faith will have her day in the future ,for now there is a better athlete in the 1500.

The Kenyan team is performing beyond the expectations of many especially given the Olympic flop where we had a lot of hopes.

The marathoners are:

Nicholas Kipkemboi
Bernard Kiprop Kipyego
Michael Kipkorir Kipyego
Bernard Kiprop Koech
Peter Kimeli Some

.....not the normal suspects!!!!

Marathons are difficult things.... coz they are simply... what happens on that day, some people may have good times in prior events but for some reason fail to rise to the occasion. I hope one of our pips rises to the occasion as edna did! go kenya!

kebede has the experience just like kiplagat in the womens marathon .Thats why kiprop has to deliver the gold in the1500m with 4 golds each on the last day will most likely now be decided by the silver medals..

I still remember the Ugandan beating us at the olympics, given that our team consist but not so well know atheltes one of them may surprise many by rising to the occassion and lifting the Gold......I so pray for this!

every medal counts, if we get to 4 we can be sure of being no.3 after US and possibly russia (wako na dada anatupa mkuki bwana). Jamaica will definitely get 4 golds and thus we need to beat them in the silvers. Ethiopia may beat us on the rest but if we scrape silvers and bronzes - tunawesa make it to no.3

defar yuko kwa 5k women?
