Court tells Nyong'o to resign or stepdown

High court judge Isaac Lenaola has advised Medical services Minister Anyang Nyong'o to either resign or step down as a senator stating that the law does not allow him to take oath as senator while he still in office.

Go away Ny'ong'o

Can someone jog my memory which landmark courtcase in Kenya has Ahmednassir ever won for His client/ or rather made a headline ? I think He is a bully and an opportunist , am yet to place Him in the league of J.Khaminwa, Oraro,Lee Muthoga , Gitobu , Orengo , Pravin Bowry jsut to mention a few.

Surely, do u think the guy would have qualified to be the LSK chair and a member of the JSC with no case won? Some arrogance is needed in law

Yes. Like with all the elective posts, all one needs for those two is to be a good politician. Winning of cases or brilliance in court is not a requirement.

I am afraid at your train of argument on restraint; you raised several examples from all over the world but failed to contextually juxtapose those decisions to the peculiar circumstances obtaining in the current Kenyan case. Think about that as you retire, you don't have to respond.Justice Dr. Wanjala to Ahmednassir

But why are we assuming Justin Muturi will not be a better performer than the predecessor. Let him get a chance too and he can prove himself.
