You must realise @maka that your statement below would actually condemn any professional lawyer. The practice of law dictates that every man is entitled to a defence, irrespective of the evidence. That is for the judge to determine.

George Oraro does not play cards when he practises law. He practises pure and simple law based on the factual circumstances of the case. That is why he has for 10 years in a row being declared as the top litigation lawyer by Chambers and Global.

Much obliged @maka. To conclude discussion of all lawyers (not just Oraro) and their role in the Supreme Court case...

I'm reminded when Sir Thomas Moore, A Man for All Seasons, was once asked, if he had the Devil in his sights right ahead of him, and as sure as sunrise knew it was him; would he cut a great road through the law, get after the Devil 'shoot and save the world'?

Sir Thomas Moore responded:
"Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ’round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat? This country’s planted thick with laws from coast to coast — man’s laws, not God’s — and if you cut them down . . . d’you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then?...

Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake.

Were rejected votes included in the tally?

Yes! And according to the ongoing in court, the IEBC bowed to pressure from CORD and UK Embassy in Kenya to include them against the advice of AG and others.

If Jubilee already got 50%+1 despite them being included, what's the issue? Why bother removing them now?

I think it is to set a precedent for future elections.

Imagine a scenario in future where a candidate gets 49.99% with rejected votes counted, leading to a run of.
However, if the results are based on VALID votes cast, the same candidate may get over 50%.

I think rejected votes should be excluded.

My 2 cents

Evidence, wololo. Errors pointed out by Kethi's findio ndlama in Nyeri County and Bomet. Can't wait for IEBC's response.

Oraro's mobile phone (or some one's close to him) keeps interfering with the microphone....
