Sigh, not looking good. The words used in the Profit Warning seemed to indicate that 2H is not much better than 1H or that's what I discerned.

Weird right? Lets see what they do after the results. But for sure something is mopping up. Puma?

SMH Sad Thought that too of Puma going OMO smile though if the results can create a lower base it would be a better start. Anyhu, still I wait for the results. Let's see.

The PPT must be someone knowing the true value of KK. Word in the street is that KK negotiators priced it at over KES 40 but Puma disagreed hence the negotiations failed. Big Q now is, what is KK truely worth >>>> http://www.theeastafrican.co.ke...06/-/nqqep0/-/index.html

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Why would they want to 'backstop' the price? Isn't it easier or better to buy at lower prices?

Nyoike backs down in gas pricing dispute
“This has the markings of a scam and we want AGOL to share with us the model they used to arrive at the pricing,”
said the marketer.
The deadlock prompted Mr Nyoike to back down on his earlier threat to punish marketers if the signing of the gas storage fee and the OTS contracts, which was set
for adoption last Friday at a meeting in the ministry’s headquarters, was derailed.

If only KK falls below 10 coz keeping the powder dry for that... This is a minimum 2 year 'hold' as I expect the post-election blues e.g. petitions, run-off, etc to 'disappear' & investments start to mature.

1) 2013 results > 2012
2) Savior or White Knight rides in to buy KK [we know it is for sale] in 2014

True about white knight. according to SIB KK were asking for over 40.00 per share. lol. but i think its justified with the oil boon

From the looks of things KK is looking to announce the H1 results before announcing the deal..

I have a feeling the results will spook the market into selling to Puma at 17bob definitely

I will risk all and be an experiment on this deal. I BGL will not be selling. Besides, I have shareholding in many non-listed entities that will never list so KK/PUMA will just be one among many. When all wazuans have received their cheques mimi nitabaki pale pale!!

Not unless they do a hostile take-over in which case you get your cheque whether you want it or not. remember the Glazers takeover of Man Utd where a share jumped 34% to 300pence a share and reluctantly there was no other choice.

Wazee hukumbuka... I resisted the take over by puma in 2012 but now i welcome the offer will stretched arms. I have over 145% returns at Ksh. 23
