The just posted audio message of a mujahid Yahya Al Libi to muslim scholars asks them to stop getting in the way of Jihadists or even hilariously - asking they stop telling the 'muslim youth' to go do jihad whereas they themselves are not in these jihad areas.

Wazuans have also been wondering here how you can extol the virtues of the Caliphate from the comforts of Nairobi and western capitals. If the Khilafa is that good, please post from there not from couches in Nairobi's KFC, Dominos or Coldstone!

The problem with religion is that it is not arrived at through a logical examination of the facts but is arrived at through belief. Reading and re-reading some piece of writing until you convince yourself that what you are reading is the absolute truth.
Science's objective consideration of the facts will win in the end.
Both Koran and Bible have too much in mythical stories and focus on people repeating the same thing over and over again until they accept it as fact. This is what madrassas and Sunday schools are about. There is also a heavy reliance on emotionalism, fear (of hell or some other punishment) and closed thought.
Science relies on proven fact and continuous search for knowledge. It requires a much higher level of intelligence and uncertainity to deal with it it but it will ultimately win out against beliefs.
In science for all intents and purposes, once you die your matter just breaks down into smaller matter. There is no evidence of an afterlife.

Mv ufanisi, Are you a believer in creation or the big bhang theory?

Btw, do you know that science is also a religion?

re·li·gion
rəˈlijən/
noun
noun: religion

the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

by this definition, science is no religion.

noun
noun: science

the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

this should answer your question no 1 as well. Science and belief are like oil and water. Science is more about repeatable, verifiable and observable proof. And it's always welcomes contrarian ideas and refutation. By it's nature science admits that much is not known but lays a foundation for exploration.

“When people ask me if a god created the universe, I tell them that the question itself makes no sense. Time didn’t exist before the big bang, so there is no time for god to make the universe in. It’s like asking directions to the edge of the earth; The Earth is a sphere; it doesn’t have an edge; so looking for it is a futile exercise. We are each free to believe what we want, and it’s my view that the simplest explanation is; there is no god. No one created our universe, and no one directs our fate. This leads me to a profound realization; There is probably no heaven, and no afterlife either. We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe, and for that I am extremely grateful.” - Stephen Hawking
