That guy joined as a cadet, every Officer joins as a cadet but graduates thro the ranks upto General. And yes, cadets can be deployed in war/ direct combat, though there are conditions. They were not deployed in this case. Those guys being "interviewed" to join the army by running round the fieald do they join as cadets? For once I thought cadets graduate to be special officers mainly in the engineering and civil works...theirs is a support team and the brian behind the operations...not directly fighting; but I may be wrong! I know and we know a lot of guys who are HIV+, wonder how many goes saying am +, it would be too demoralizing if the gava went saying so far we have lost 50 sojas to some 10 terrorist, the easy thing is say we lost 2 to friendly fire and we have cornered the terrorist, after the bizna is done we can then count the loss.
