Paul Tudor Jones Buys Bitcoin as a Hedge Against Inflation

Quote:

Macro investor Paul Tudor Jones is buying Bitcoin as a hedge against the inflation he sees coming from central bank money-printing, telling clients it reminds him of the role gold played in the 1970s.

“The best profit-maximizing strategy is to own the fastest horse,” Jones, the founder and chief executive officer of Tudor Investment Corp., said in a market outlook note he entitled ‘The Great Monetary Inflation.’ “If I am forced to forecast, my bet is it will be Bitcoin.”

Jones, who said his Tudor BVI fund may hold as much as a low single-digit percentage of its assets in Bitcoin futures, becomes one of the first big hedge fund managers to embrace what until now has largely been snubbed by mainstream advocates. He was motivated to take a hard look at Bitcoin after considering the implications of massive fiscal spending and bond-buying by central banks to combat the Coronavirus pandemic, he said.

By his calculation, $3.9 trillion of money, the equivalent of 6.6% of global economic output, has been printed since February.

This is a must read. Let me sleep when I wake I want to extract important things from this one.
John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

The pop above 9450 has confirmed our bullish bias. But I expect a bearish correction to Down to about 7600 before we start once again the BIG move UP. Bitcoin will exceed the last high of 19,000.

You are wrong more often than you are right Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Do you still stand by your statement? Bitcoin has fallen as I expected!
And yes, analysis is hard business. It is a given that many times the analysis will be wrong. But with Elliott Waves at least you can tell where you need to update your forecast.

Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

See the bulls**t people rely on to 'forecast' the market! Forecast in quotes because it isn't all that. A person waits for a market to move in some particular direction then they imediatelly attribute the market move to some faceless omnipotent smart money! All that without a blink. Massive pump and dump ehh! Shame on you

I've said this before and I'll say it again: NO ONE MANIPULATES a liquid market the likes of Bitcoin! No one!

We already expected the market to move down in a wave [c] and that is precisely what is happening.
Of course there are instances where the analysis go wrong. It is a given. But with Elliott Waves you minimize your losses considerably and it is the only method of analysis where you get to know at what point you are wrong. You cannot do that with any other method. And when we do catch a move be assured it is a big and worthwhile move. That's what drives us.

BITCOIN Daily Chart. Bitcoin dropped as we had anticipated in a previous post. BUT BE READY to BUY. Wave [c] of 2 is completing. The next move is UP Strongly! I'll only be wrong if it drops to 6,460 but this is VERY UNLIKELY.

BITCOIN 1 HR Time Frame. A small minuette wave (iv) then a drop in wave (v) of [c] of 2. Target likely 8436 or 7920. THEN a strong turn Upwards. Be ready!

Bitcoin should blast off from here. Next targets lie at 13,000, 14,000 and 16,000. BUY.
