She was not even arrested but was given a free police bond. But woe unto you ukipatikana eti umeiba 10 bob.

Justice has to be augmented with politics. That's why she was allowed to present herself to CID HQs jana. Kama ni wewe, mangoto from karao, kuja hapa mahabusu, mkora jambazi jinga as you are led to the dark cells overnight for court appearance kesho.

read penal code here..
http://www.kenyalaw.org/...0The%20Penal%20Code.pdf

Read section 322... and interestingly 322(4)(a)

Quote:
(4) Where a person is charged with an offence under this section-

(a) it shall not be necessary to allege or prove that the person charged knew or ought to have known of the particular offence by reason of which any goods are deemed to be stolen goods;

It is for kethi to prove she was not handling stolen property!!! Or the property she was handling was not stolen!! hiyo ni ngumu sana!!
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

I doubt its only that...If they charged her with handling stolen goods we have the most inept, mongoloic and incompetent group of Prosecutors in this country. Really? Do they want her to go free? Because what they have done is to hand her a life line on a silver platter. Do they know an Act called the Elections Act exists? Under that Act they could charge her with a myriad of offences. For example: charging her with directly or indirectly printing, manufacturing or supplying or procuring the printing, manufacture or supply of any election material which in this case will be the slip. Or, removing, destroying, concealing or mutilating or assisting in the removal, destruction, concealment or mutilation of any such material. Both of this are offences that carry heavy penalties under the Elections Offences Act and forgery will not work. Unless they have a document examiner's report showing her hand in the making of the slip...
