Let's begin with the owner[s] of the land when a charge was slapped on it? Who then charged the said land? Is Mumias and Kidero one and same? Honest and truthful answers to the above will tell whether Kidero is culpable.

Your mistake is failing to understand that it is ONLY kyuk TNA masufferers, slum dwellers, e.t.c who identify with waititu. Just talk to slum dwellers in Kibera, maringo, mathare, 56, congo and most other non-kyuk dwellers and you will understand this slum dweller thing is not waititu's monopoly, he is far behind Kidero in the slums and middle and overclass. Someone here told you they have been to the slums with Kidero and he has a very solid broad based support in the slums. They love him! I said this here and was ran out of town.... I'm still running out of town.. The problem with the middle class is that they are hypocrites... Nobody here would admit he/she is voting for UMK or RAO because first.. they considered tribe.. then came up with nice excuses and reasons to coat the tribalism with facts... Then they happily logged into Wazua, fully convinced of their choices and started 'arguing sensical'...

Big mistake. BTW what tribe is Kidero, i have not yet checked? If it is about ethnicity, it will be a real landslide because i don't see folk siding with Waititu for ethnicity even amongst his own tribe except the very hardcore "very staunch" tribesmen youth and they will be outnumbered by Kao's, Jengs, Lunjes (cord), and others like myself who don't give a damn about his tribe in Nairobi by kilometers. The ethnic balance is unnecessary in my opinion for Kidero to win. you are wrong, majority of the citys voters are highly ethnised. Waititu will get less than 5 % in kibra. Githundi.. I'm too tired to check.. but aren't you and Mawinder and somebody else i forget who told me its a 'haves vs have nots' when it comes to Nairobi...? and that my analysis of tribe in the slums was stale? I know the power of tribal arithmetic and have never dismissed it.As for the power of the haves and have nots, what is important is perception and fight for the haves or have nots that makes one popular e.g Gakuo and Waititu are among the haves, come from the same tribe but command support from different quarters.

Its amazing that we are actually having a debate to compare the management abilities of YT2 and Kidero. But thats Kenyan way of looking at things, minds were made when the candidates picked their parties. Its no longer important who can do a good job, whats important now is the maintenance of tribal egos. "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline." Kidero's arrogance cost him a seat.

What is worrying is that even educated folks such as wazuans (there are professors and phds here) cannot let common sense prevail on an issue where the choice is as clear as day and night. My fellow Kenyans, common sense has been defeated and we are in lots of trouble.

......some people were never going to vote for Kidero in any way, they feared Wanjiru and supported Kidero on, now they must invent reasons to support the clueless stone thrower!!!! Yt2 said he could do something to improve education and Kidero over reacted. You want to tell me there is nothing a governor can do to improve quality of education. So your Nairobi governor will create form 1A to D to improve education? This must be the most stupid and sickening joke of this year. he wants to ensure 100% transition rate from primary to secondary school. Is that sickening? Democracy does not belong to the dead

This ideas have been tried many times/years before by experts, if you believe Waititu has the new innovative solution beyond the work of many experts, beyond the several commissions, inquiries, studies, committees in the past, perhaps he is better of as President.
