Two Embraers have been seriously damaged and will be out for the better part of the year... 5Y-KYR was being serviced and on choks a mishap happened and it ran over the choks trying to steer it from hitting the hangar walls it hit 5Y - FFF and both were damaged seriously... possunt quia posse videntur

I don't think this is insurable. C4 checks require certain conditions which seem not to have been adhered to. There is a breather before the interruptions begin since the check takes minimum two weeks. So they programmed not to have the kites in that time. The funk will begin after the budgeted time. But with good route planning I suspect they will get away with it given that the load factor isn't 100% on all Embraer routes.
