The team will have improved - your house of cards is now falling apart! This fascination with one team makes you forget there are many, many others' in EPL and already a boring bus park won the league. I see no harm with you leaving football commendation to @smano, Mc, kaka2za,Taz, mweza, Ric dees and other objective analysts.

It affects transfers because some players won't sign until a place in the CL proper is secured. This affects team cohesion because late signings miss preseason training.
I should know,Arsenal mega deals involving Ozil and Alexis were done after CL qualifiers.

I totally agree with you on that one - but it would be humiliating beyond imagination not to qualify to the group stages after all the hullabaloo of making 4th place.

I look at those losses to Leicester, Westbrom and others in the early days and know that LvG will crack that nut of killing off games next season...
