God is indeed gracious. This man will have a testimony, as has any man who has faced death. I hope he gives his life to the Lord for all the days of his life. Imagine it was you?

Hiyo picha ilichukuliwa mchana, the light through the entrance is visible. Lakini we are grateful for each and every life that was preserved. For the hostages, police and KDF who lost their lives, we pray for comfort upon their families. I cannot even begin to fathom the depth of their grief.

But we must ask hard questions of our leadership on how this was allowed to take place. Let's not fall back into our habit of sweeping things under the carpet and 'moving on'.

Arent these people worse than the terrorists?

My God...

Why throw stones? Did they want to storm the mall themselves and rescue the hostages?

Or could they be anxious relatives of the hostages who have become impatient with the pace of things? And it could have been made worse by the smoke/fire and maybe they expected the army to have stormed the mall by now to save relas from the burning building?

I have been wondering when the police would send these fellows away. I was particularly suspicious of one dude i saw there on Saturday the whole day, and whole of Sunday...

Please report this person, if you haven't already, it could save a future life! Technically this would be profiling, but its better to profile and find the person innocent than not do anything. I hope you reported to any and every official you saw, if they don't listen to you, take a picture of the person, social media is a great resource to try and fish out identities. I wonder if any of our security forces actually interrogated the people who got out of the mall, its very likely that the culprits got away in broad daylight, did anyone follow up on the suspect who changed into a purple shirt? In one of the videos at the hospital, there's an Arab dressed in a purple shirt at the entrance of one of the hospitals. We definitely need a more organized first response team, you cant assume that everyone walking out of the mall is a victim, at the very least copies of their IDs should have been recorded to be run against a national database. We cant assume that the cowards are lying about having an informant in the KDF, instead we should check their cell phones once they are in custody to ascertain who was giving them info, the most valuable asset we could get from them is their cell phones coz its unlikely they will talk. From their twitter account, these are a bunch of overgrown boys who set out to get fame and notoriety and didn't have an exit plan (thank God) I hope Kenyans learn from this to be aware of their environs and report anything suspicious even if it looks laughable. Lets get mad enough to vow that we will act retroactively to make sure this never happens again. God bless Kenya!

Periodic subtle direct front photos of the crowd were being taken by 'journalists'. Our intelligence is not as naive as we imagine.
