obiero wrote:maka wrote:@Obiero how much do we pay as interest on debt every month? Then what's the exact sum owed to creditors? Total debt after restructuring is KES138B, hence average interest payment at KES 650m monthly KK and KQ have roughly the same Revenue yet KQ pays more in interest than KK's profits. Please fill up your planes at KK. KQ to pay cash. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Flights as far out as Dec 3rd fully booked Excellent for the Government of Kenya, People of Kenya, Employees of KQ, suppliers of KQ and JV Partners of KQ. Minorities shareholders rejoice in retweets and likes. I am rooting for KQ. I have a 1/50,000,000 (of GoK's) stake in KQ + a much larger indirect stake via KQLC. Greedy when others are fearful. I wonder if Kanze bothered to dish out tickets to shareholders. None... Obiero had said some time back that he'd be on the flight. It didn’t go as planned. Had to give it up to my cousin due to work commitments Inaugural flight has amongst its passengers, the following heavyweights; 1. @Maka Question: If the flight is well-priced, then why can't KQ fly 80% full daily? Facts: There are 1000s of Kenyans/Diasporans flying to/from the (Northeast) US annually. Currently, one has to stop at LHR, AMS, CDG on SkyTeam. LH uses FRA [not sure if Brussels flies to NBO]. BA uses LHR. TK uses IST. Ethiopian uses ADD. The ME airlines flights are much longer. Then add the East Africans (TZ, UG, RW, BU) and Southern Africans (Mauritius, Malawi, etc) who could use KQ to get to NYC. Of course, the flights have to reasonably priced + good connections (Delta) + profitable for KQ. *I am rooting for KQ. I have a 1/50,000,000 (of GoK's) stake in KQ + a much larger indirect stake via KQLC. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
