Not sure that the purveyors of impunity will punished by the rotten judicial system. There has to be another way.

We need a special squad like the one that dealt with Mungiki.

You are either a very keen student of our politics or on the inside lane. How could you be so right? The Milimani court is currently full hypocritical lawyers who pretend to fight for democracy and human rights.

An MP has written to Parliament seeking the rejection of Philomena Mwilu as Kenya's next deputy Chief Justice.

Kandara MP Alice Wahome wants the National Assembly Justice and Legal Affairs committee to reject the judge's nomination.

Wahome claims that Mwilu received a bribe of Sh3 million to influence the outcome of an election petition she (the MP) filed in 2008.

She said the bribe was for the judge to rule against her in favour of former MP Maina Kamau.

Wahome claimed she beat Kamau in the 2007 poll, and that the judge's ruling imposed the MP on residents of her constituency.

The MP said she wants the EACC to investigate the judge and that she was ready to provide evidence.

This was before she was appointed to the the supreme court we should be caring about the issues raised by the DPP otherwise no one will trust the judiciary again.

I think I read somewhere that the two were classmates at some point. Alice had no kind words for the disgraced lady. She's indeed the most unpopular SC judge in the mountains for her inability to hide prejudice in her utterances and looks.

One look from her unajua umemamliswo Sad

Its not a matter of rushing to comment or Wahome. I think she tackled Wahome's issue with Grace, but did she commit the crime she now faces? If yes, then face the law if not that's another story. I doubt Alice has this power you all want to bandikia her

What's up Maka?

Magistrate Mugambi has ruled that the orders by High Court temporarily blocking the DCJ’s case do not apply to the case before him. “I don’t want to amend the orders of the court, that will be trespassing on dangerous areas. I am only guided by an order that is clear and specific. So this order, in my view, does not apply to this case,”

There are many speculative reasons, here are mine:
-Former DPP (now CS) was a joke.
-No political will back then
-Political
-New evidence
-Graft fight PR

BBI will solve it
