i agree that between 1950 and 1967, luos were the most educated kenyans because the emergency law forbid GEMA to move around a certain radius. a luo would still attend alliance and maseno, because this law did not affect them. However, after independece other tribes did catch up with them and some over took them by far. i believe embus have more eduated people per capita than luos. Even Kambas, who come from harsh environment, i guess have a good number of educated people more than luos.. my first ten years, i grew up speaking only luo and many people tell me i still have a luo acent but i can´withstand their barbaric behaviour. their DNA is made up of violen.
