It would be ideal to investigate all such deals from 1963.We must know beneficiaries of stolen land all over Kenya and even if the thieves eg Johnstone are dead, they should be jailed posthumously.Mambo ya watu owning land the size of Nyanza when it is not clear how they purchased it must stop.Mombasa beach plots in the names of Karume, Njonjo, Mahihu, Mathenge, Heritage Hotels etc should be returned to the coast people.Let Freedom stop his hypocrisy.

@Mawinder, how would such return be done? To who specifically?? The amount of land in coast is so vast and population so sparse that you'd be suprised to know its one of the provinces with the sparsest population density in the country. The problem though that everyone wants a place at the beach, which was originally allocated to the Sultan of Zanzibar (10 mile strip) from the shore!!

Why 1963 and not 1902? Why 1902 and not 1880? To whom should it be given in the 'community'? People need to think not heckle here.

Is the Government playing wry political games with the Lamu matter!

Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

These guys couldn't nail UK during campaigns sembuse Sasa. Johnstone may have amassed land then but he was intelligent enough to secure it genuinely and the paperwork so they say.

If that's what Orengo is banking on too bad he will be fried alone with beneficiaries.

i.am.back!!!!

Sasa wewe @mawinder, look what you've done...

But considering the often abused phrase 'willing buyer, willing seller' the courts will be very busy determining how legally binding transactions became illegal due to undue influence or conflict of interest.

Unless Kenyatta family bites the bullet and leads the way, now that would be a revolution smile

.

Hot air tupu. The proper way would be to investigate first, prosecute, revoke and repossess. Even with all the best lawyers and investigators this would take longer than ICC
