Kenyans take everything they read on the newspapers for the gospel truth. Wish they know how that profession really works...

On the Ruto issue, all I know is that there are 2 stories and 2 sets of invoices out there. Its up to you to choose which one to believe.

you do realise the story had facts...as in they had the invoice from the company....including the charges....so I dont think the story was far fetched...it had very little exaggeration. So I think NTV had good sources the information was a little off but yeah the source was Ok.

Sorry they don't. NTV has a fake invoice for $300K as part payment which as usual they "cannot disclose their source". VistaJet confirmed they invoiced full payment of $221K which has been confirmed by Ruto's office and is open for the press to examine.

So get your facts right. NTV did not verify the info with Ruto or Vistajet before publishing.

That is called malice!!

Whichever way you look at it I do not want my Deputy President spending 5 days in the Gabon or the CAR waiting for a flight or connecting using a semi-commercial flight from one town to another in Nigeria. Even our hosts would not take us seriously. Lets be realistic, he was on official duties. We are the biggest economy in this region and we need to behave as such otherwise we wouldn't be taken for our shirts. It may have been a cost to spend but those who do marketing will agree with me that image is everything.

Agreed. I even thought the 100M was once off expenditure if it's annual, I think we will be saving some money.

The invoice stated $300,000 a quarter that's roughly 25M in three months.....it is cost effective if you asked me given the convenience and the number that would be carried by the plane, there were about 15 VIPs and several guards/aides. so in My opinion The expenditure is worth the money....

NTV exaggerated the amount v/s the duration they created an impression that the cost was for that trip alone instead of making it clear it was for the whole year.

So exactly where did Nation hate on Ruto? The invoice says $300000 per quarter

Which is 100 million per year.

So now according to njumbiree, tell the facts is hating on one Ruto?

So was Ndemo lying when he said 18m?

Hii mambo ya ndege only seems to be annoying njumbiree fans. Wengine moved on. It seems reality is slowly beginning to dawn on them. One funny guy on harrydres rag went ahead and said those demonstrating in Limuru were definitely gor fans. Kweli, the wool has sunk in some people's eyes.

Glad to know you read it even as you hate! keep those hits coming lol

people dont eat big economies in their homes, the status of being a "big economy" on paper hasnt eradicted the jigger menace...there is something called servant leadership sacrificing your luxurious/lavish lifestyle so that your brother or sister gains from it...will you die if you fly commercial?anyway I shouldnt care I eat, sleep well I can even afford some few nice toys of my own...let them who are in need complain...
