Having said that, I wonder too if the gains made in Rwanda outweigh what many ( especially in the West) would call a shrinking democratic space. I am happy

You will know that you have arrived when money and time are not mutually exclusive "events" in you life!

Tokyo wrote:Kalonzo final campaign message " Mt Kenya to lie low like 'antelope '" That's ok. We all know we're a tribal country. May we all represent our tribes well on 8/8 and may the man with the biggest tribal constituents win overwhelmingly. BBI will solve it :)

Kalonzo should never have burned his bridges with Mt Kenya just because of "betrayal" by Uhuruto. This is the only constituency that would have earned him a ticket to StateHse. Investing solely in Nasa in the hope that Nyanza/Western will return the favour in 2022 is a bad joke.

Dispatch from Nyeri.
It's freezing in Nyeri. Guys here support Uhuru but they don't idolize him. Most locals put it quite bluntly. "Giki no tuiyire" . ".This one unless we rig"
Wahome gakuru was supposed to take the governor by landslide. Well not quite. Wamathai may be unispiring but the youthful githinji (cocorico) and Mathenge thuo (wanguku) have thrown their weight behind him. Throw in pride by Wahome gakuru and the race has been thrown open once more.
Of the 6 MPs, women rep, senator and governor, independents will take at least 4.

In fact these sentiments might be what diverts RAO's last bullet from the bull's eye @washiku, take it from me. The highest turnout this time will be less than 90%. If Kiambu achieves >85%, it will be a miracle. It has nothing do with passion or love for their candidate. It's a voting trend reality. This lesson was brought to me by an expert in this field. Remember the voter registration statistics ? Which counties were leading ? Nairobi, kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu, Mombasa, Nakuru. Both in %age and absolute terms. Do you notice the common thread with these counties ? They reflect the modern trend in urban settlements. Finally, turnout is heavily influenced by the recency of the voter register. In 2013, register was 6 months old. This time it's 5 years old. From the 2.3M Nairobi voters, 300K are already dead. Another 300K have settled elsewhere. Repeat that countrywide.

@Frm I thought you had all the time to push your propaganda. The narrative of Nyeri vs the others is worse than the tribal narrative you pretend to fight. You cann't fight tribalism with that kind mindset.

".This one unless we rig" Its interesting that the rigging narative has been engraved in your minds and speech.Even where its obvious you see rigging.Care to tell us how this will happen given the steps explained by the IEBC.Wahome gakuru was supposed to take the governor by landslide. Well not quite. Wamathai may be unispiring but the youthful githinji (cocorico) and Mathenge thuo (wanguku) have thrown their weight behind him. IEBC cleaned the register so its not what you are trying to tell usFrom the 2.3M Nairobi voters, 300K are already dead. Another 300K have settled elsewhere. Repeat that countrywide. [/quote) Add another 100k that have moved to safer ground because of Babu's scare mongering.
And are you suggesting the 300k that moved did not register where they moved to?Love is beautiful and so are those who share it.With Love, Marriage is an amazing event in ones life time, the foundation of joy, happiness and success.
