Elections in Kenya is necessary formality exercise and a way of showing the west that we are 'democratic'. All the parties pick their pork candidates in some boardroom deal, to that extent you are right. How a candidate fronted by some fat cats ends up winning instead of another is an entirely different matter, really Endelea kushangaaaaa. Lord, thank you!

For the president, it rubber stamps a decision that has been made. the cliche statement "Kenya iko na wenyewe" is real. Lord, thank you!
