...making light of what is a grave manner (it is friday evening anyway...) in which category does the Kidero slap fall... methinks it is a hybrid of the civilian and army one, starting off with the former (You slapped me Kidero!) to silence and stumbling away...

Who were saying at ooh gentleman, openning car door for the wife.

I cannot believe the crap I'm reading here...silly justifications on a woman being assulted and finding humour in it!! Is that what those people commenting here teach their sons? instil fear in their daughters? disrespect their wives and mothers. And lady Wazuans are still invited to attend mbuzis?1?

I don't believe for one second Kideor excercised or exercises self control...that slap looks to me like someone who is wife barterer. Yuk!!

what is the problem? the fact that he has slapped someone or the fact that he has slapped a woman?

Violence begets nothing. It should not be directed at anybody - man or woman. If he felt provoked...take a bloody walk or cold shower, count to 100 backwards but do not hit!! I don't buy that all-time-favourite-male justification of "provocation"..utter nonsense.

I agree on the violence bit but then let's not castigate Sonko because after all he was not violent, no?

Sonko suffers from verbal diarrohea so I won't pick on him. He's a lost cause.

So we finally agree on something Applause. Well Shebesh also suffers from the same condition smile

Carol did not go out of her way to pound Sonko for yelling at her...and even phyiscal proximity notwithstanding, I believe she has conducted herself with decorum in the past where she has been "provoked" by the opposite sex.

Kidero is no longer fit to hold the high office of Nairobi Governor. Impeach!!

When shebesh chose to act like a hooligan she ought to expect to be treated like one...

At last someone sees my point of view. She should sue his pants off - lose translation make him lose face until he can speak no more let alone barter another woman.

But it would be nothing without a woman in it.

True...and all I am asking is 'will kidero be put on the same weighing scale as a lady who just touched somebody else''s nose?

I think he will pay dearly for his actions, there is nothing like a man's world,he will be depicted ,and maybe righfully so, as a barterer.
I am happy
