Sato...30th March. Now that there is no appeal, we shall jump over the next month with a clear way forward.

NKT – another three days of this politics!

The MAIN case will be based on the original 34 page petition...right?

CORD will NOT introduce any affidavits to prove the points raised in the original petition.

The Petition's grounds, arguments for, issues of determination and relief sought (as contained HERE) are very clear.

The rejected petitions in my view were to build up on the original petition. Now that they have been all rejected and having in mind the evidence threshold required by any Supreme Court to declare an election null and void, just how will CORD pull this off?

Someone please enlighten me.

If am not wrong, all cards are and should be on the table by now. What will Senior Counsel Oraro pull off his sleeves that is not on the original petition that in my view my end up just being allegations?

Funny enough, the findings from the re-tallying might add more weight in determining this case yet the petitioners had not even mentioned them. The re-tallying was not one of their prayers.

CORD's strategic error: seeking the TRUTH through the court. But courts work with FACTS!

What other option did they have?

So you make this conclusion with only the pretrial heard.....the trial is yet to start for the two petitions chalenging the presidential election!!

No; after reading the petition in full

Interesting how some people have already 'dismissed' the petitions - the 'key' ones haven't even been heard!

Where's admin by the way - many posts here surely amount to 'anticipating the course of a trial or predicting the outcome'. The insinuation that the respected George Oraro is in this for the money is also in bad taste, no?

How about we just wait for the court's decision? It's only a max of 3 days away anyway.

There is a wrong assumption (my thoughts) by CORD that a voter who voted for CORD governor also automatically voted for its presidential candidate. The outcome of Nairobi polls for governor and president ought to have enlightened them with the 50/50 split.

I voted Karua and Kidero; just a "by the way"

Now that was visionary!!
