STATEMENT BY JUBILEE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE UHURU KENYATTA OVER TODAY’S COURT RULING:

I welcome the high court’s ruling today.

It has affirmed what we have always held; the people of Kenya — and them alone — have the power and the mandate to determine the leadership of this great country.

Kenya has come of age and the people of Kenya can never go wrong.

God Bless Kenya.

Signed; Munyori Buku, Director of Communications, Office of the DPM
On behalf of Uhuru Kenyatta.

I presume those pronouncements were not made in vain, that is why I referred to them as 'decrees'. A lot of legal interpretation went into their making. So, naturally in a future case someone will point at these arguments and move for dismissal. Any lawyers in the house?

Yes, those statements will be used. But courts are not bound by precedence of their peers at he same level.

So we have people running Amok, that chapter 6 has not been applied.
Let us be honest with ourselves,if chapter 6 were to be applied to the letter, which politician would survive?.

So if they had barred Uhuruto from running, that would have been the measure of how katiba works ?Saa zingiine tuache kujifanya.

No one is being fixed by chapter 6, tukutaneni kwa debe

Jubilee oyee !

the good thing is that the ngos have been ordered to pay costs, i doubt with that, the so called Wainaina will proceed with the case, i think it is pretty clear they don't have a chance of success.

We need people like him to test the limits of our Constitution.
These judgements /rulings bring to life the paper provisions of the constitution. Without them, we become clueless about the import of rights or standards we set .
So yes, I welcome this Kenyan risking his capital so that we can all benefit from the rules that are made.

According to my 'compact' small brain, the judges were saying the high court deals in real issues not ujinga issues of politicing in courts about the intergrity of a A Very Qualifed Presidential Candidate by IEBC standards.
