The pass rates are the lowest in a long time(35-39%). The survival rate in kenya is said to have been quite low(5%???)!

How many candidates do you know that passed;

1) Level-I?
2) Level-II?

@extrablessed,

how do you know that Proverb and Chessmaster are not the two you already know? You could be knowing 2, 3 or 4.

@FundamentAli: that would make the situation even worse...Level-I = 2 (max4) and level-II = 1.

ONLY 1 candidate known to have passed level-2???

Its really sad that you spend so much cash to enroll for CFA, spend a whole sleepless 1-year reading and cracking that stuff, miss the fun, miss the bash, miss the dates, miss shags, miss evrything just to make sure you pass...and then these dudes sitting there in the U.S wait for July to make sure you fail...and you have to repeat the process for another full year...!!!

Really, really, really sad!

Pray Pray Pray Pray Pray Pray

Finally the grave diggers have taken the day. They have successfully succeeded in discouraging an ambitious idiot" No pun intended"

In life, there is success and failure to try, You only fail to try. Am sure those that fail the exams are 100% better equipped than those that don't even try.

Advise is don't even think of the brakes, Just step on to the accelerator. what is important is to know what you want.

And who said you can not be the fifth guy to pass level 1 and the second lady to pass level 2

Give it a try, but get a guarantee that your bash, your friends bash, outings, dates, travels, etc will loose taste for the next 3-5yrs...Its really a sacrifice...but finaly when you have it, you will talk as others just stare, and laugh when those who think they know are talking...the feeling like a FULLY-LOADED car....

You can add me to the number of people that passed CFA Level One.

I would encourage everyone that wants to have a career or knowledge in investments to take the qualification regardless of past pass rates.

The pass rates this year were better than the last and with the right amount commitment, desire and proper reading strategy you could among those who pass.
