This is a surprise!Everyone thought Magara or the ODM guy would win.South Mugirango has ignored the noise of the big names in politics

Couldn't wait to see Magara out. Good riddance.

Btw, why did the media give this Ford People candidate a blackout? Sometimes village politics and not national politics do matter!

Thanks people of Nyamarambe

Congratulations to you Nyamweya.
This shows politics of PNU and ODM has been thrown to the dustbin. This is the way to go come 2012.Let's vote for individuals and not parties.

He was the petitioner who made Magara loose his seat claiming foul. ODM and PNU are only good at rigging. One of them is smarter than the other. This two ought to change

I guess this begs the question of what constituents expect of their elected representative to the august house.

We have observed MPs contribute at the national and some even at the international stage only to be bundled out at the constituency level.

Is there a mechanism where we can separate the executive and the legislature so that an MP's focus is geared more towards the constituency with the added role of checking the executive?

Nyachae might have lost his seat but his influence down there is still great. The media underated the support Ford P still commands in the larger kissii area.

Conratulations to democracy, the people of S. Mugirango and to Nyamweya!!!!!

I think the greater 'loss' is to the PM. Even after endorsing his candidate in church the guy still lost. Signs of eroding power

This means the guy had won.

The PM lost even after asking the youth to repulse Ruto's chopper.

I hope the current goons are taking notes. For most it's already too late anyway! Looks like our Pray are getting answered.

How happy to see that the braggards of ODM and their PNU have been shown that Kenya does not revolve around them.I dont know the fellow who won but the feeling that is not the two bull*** parties gives me a cool day.Karibu Bwana Nyamweya to the circus that is politics in Kenya.

does this mean that the south mugirango elections in 2007 were rigged? but wait a minute-just remembered that it is odm that won. and we all know it is impossible for the hallelujah party to rig. ford p must have ferried aps in choppers. we demand a recount or a railway line. wapi captain!

Just watchd hekaheka on citizen. The PM askd voters 'wasimletee aibu'.then went on with one of his vitendawili where Ochoi scored after getting a pass from the PM.NOTE they were playing against PNU not Ford-p.No wonder they lost:wrong opponent.@freiks PNU did not have a candidate but unoficially backed Magara
