Has anyone tried the new CBK Dhow system? It is a real pain. A lot more complicated to bid/rollover than the previous TMD system. Plus, I am struggling to get any answers on how to pay for my latest successful bid for the reopened 2 year bond. The guy on the CBK customer care phone said that I wi;; need to go to my bank to do this.???????

Was hoping that this part was automated to enable CBK debit the bank account directly. But, nopes. We are not there yet.

Created a bid for 91 day and it went through seamless. Only issue is the settlement part which I believe they shall streamline COOP, IMH, KEGN, KQ, MTNU

With Standard Chartered, i was able to send an RTGS to my CBK account, after which the funds were moved from my account to the portfolio account.

How did you determine amount of funds to transfer before auction results. CBK CDS is under your Dhow or the former USSD? COOP, IMH, KEGN, KQ, MTNU

Rollovers using the USSD code was alot more straight forward than in the current dispensation. I thought any new technology ought to be an upgrade or a supplement to an existing system.

What do you mean by your CBK account and your portfolio account? I thought the virtual accounts were phased out and they now only have the CSD accounts.

The virtual account and CSD account are both ongoing. Not sure why they need the two identifier numbers though COOP, IMH, KEGN, KQ, MTNU

Not sure why they need the two identifier numbers though During the launch of the DhowCSD platform, CBK sent me a message stating that the virtual accounts had henceforth been phased out.
