The Foreign affairs ministry has kicked out Somalia's ambassador to Kenya and recalled the Kenyan envoy in Mogadishu.

The beef is some off shore oil prospecting block that's claimed by both countries. Kenya says Somalia has gone ahead and auctioned the block in a London auction.

Tricky situation. Such tension may worsen things regarding even the war against al Shabaab who may score propaganda points.

This case has been in the hague for years, was it concluded? If you look at the pictures you'll wonder who in their right mind would buy those blocks.

Whoever is buying them is hoping to take advantage while the matter takes it's long course in court then take another long court battle with them after. They'll have nothing to lose, after all, this oil thing is like a brotherhood between companies, it's a monopoly.

ICJ ni koti ya Mbeberu. These colonialist could have decided to go to bed with Somalia and that would allow them easy access to our oil deposits.Court would just rule against Kenya and that would seal our fate.

Me think, this is a diversionary tactics. Keep Kenyans busy with USELESS topic while MAIN issues affecting them are swept under.

Can't we demarcate our border with TZ the same way the Somalis have done(extrapolation)?
