Quite. Saw a CNN feature on Mauritius saying that it is expected to post annual growth of over 7% in the coming ten years. Maybe that's what guided the transaction

ScanGroup keeps on bulking up and it has become a regional (not just Kenyan) and possibly and African powerhouse.
That said, is it "investable" [returns] based on the current price?
That's the question I struggle with... The PER seems expensive but am I missing something?

The problem with ad agencies is that it falls under creative arts hence ascertaining economic value of the entity largely depends on knowledge of the creative capacity of the ad agency noting that massive talent shifts have previously led to collapse of well established companies. This one is not for the faint hearted

Yes, if BT can keep the talent (& connections) on-board then it makes sense. Anyway, I did buy some scan back in the day but with other opportunities at lower PEs and which seem less risky, I'll stick with others BUT I will keep an eye on Scan.
