Reality ,
Jubilee has elected members from each of former provinces.
Jubilee has more MPs in Bungoma and Kakamega than ODM.
ODM has no elected MP in Kisii land.
Bonny Khalwale's MP elect is jubilee .
We got 2 Indipendent Governors .
If Raila finally win how can he effectively govern? The tyranny in parliament
work to prosper

Jubilee will have impressive numbers, about 75% of National Assembly and this means they can even amend the constitution which requires 2/3

Some mind blowing facts there. In addition,Moses Wetangula's MP elect is in Jubilee. In former Central province, Jubilee swept all the MP seats except Thika Town. No room for fringe parties.

ODM winning only 3 out of 26 MP seats in Kakamega, Bungoma and Transnzoia was a shocker. However, they swept all MP seats in Busia.

ODM also clobbered guys in Kilifi and Mombasa. For Rutto's CCM party, it was massive disappointment winning only two seats.

I do not think so unless they reinvent themselves which is a tall order. Among the principals, only MaDVD and Weta have any political life left. Baba and Melon are going into retirement (they looked harrassed by the punishing campaign trail). Melon is likely to loose ground in Ukambani to emerging leaders who are acceptable outside their community (read Mutula jnr and Mtu wa Sinema). The nose bandage irritant is basically finished. All, save perhaps for MaDVD have uttered words that some communities are likely to remember (or hold against them) for years to come.

Another Summary of the results

Governors (24 for majority)
Jubilee - 24, Jubilee Friendly - 3
NASA - 18
Independents - 2

Senators (24 for majority)
Jubilee - 24, Jubilee Friendly - 3
NASA - 20

National Assembly (169 for majority)
Jubilee - 25+140=165
Jubilee Friendly - 5+23=28
NASA - 16+110=126

Notes
Most independents have allegiance to big parties.

Wiper influence less from 2013
Jubilee able to re-elect about half of their defectors.

Who is likely to be the leader of minority? This house will need a very serious, tough and thorough opposition.

Rutto can still go back to DPORK and ask for forgiveness; remember he used to be his buddy.
