Fort Hood US shootings - On November 5, 2009, a mass murder took place at Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas. Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others. The shooting produced more casualties than any other on an American military base.

Days after the shooting, reports in the media revealed that a Joint Terrorism Task Force had been aware of a series of e-mails between Hasan and the Yemen-based imam Anwar al-Awlaki, who had been monitored by the NSA as a security threat, and that Hasan's colleagues had been aware of his increasing radicalization for several years. The failure to prevent the shootings led the Defense Department and the FBI to commission investigations, and Congress to hold hearings. On August 23, 2013, he was convicted on all charges after the jury deliberated for seven hours.Five days later, a U.S. military court sentenced him to death for the shootings. At the time of his sentencing, he became the sixth person on military death row.[ <<<source wikipedia

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -
Zaki Mohammed Sugule was arrested at the airport on Presidents' Day, acting suspiciously. He had a one-way ticket to Somalia, but he never made it past the security checkpoint at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. According to airport police, the 39-year-old was traveling with a fake Somali passport -- the wrong color, poorly laminated and name misspelled. Sugule told police he was trying to self-deport himself out of the United States in order to "turn his life around."

Feb 25 2015, Minnesota - Fox 9 has learned federal agents became concerned because in his pocket was the name and address of a contact in Syria, raising the fear Sugule may have been attempting to fly to Somalia to fight for al-Shabaab, or perhaps would attempt to reach Syria to fight for ISIS.

Another East African man -- who we are not identifying -- was arrested the same day for traveling with false documents, and it's unknown if the two were traveling together.

Several people who knew Sugule say he was known as the local drunk or inebriant. They can't imagine he would planning to fight for ISIS or al-Shabaab. They just don't think he's competent enough. <<fox news

OCT 2014 - Belgium has arrested the suspected leader of a Somali pirate group after luring him to Brussels with promises to make a documentary about his money-making life on the high seas, prosecutors have said.
All too often those persons stay out of the frame and let others carry out their dirty business.

Mohamed Abdi Hassan, known as "Afweyne" or Big Mouth, was detained when he arrived at Brussels airport on Saturday with another suspect identified as Mohamed M. A. or "Tiiceey", federal prosecutor Johan Delmulle told a news conference on Monday. << Aljazeera

April 15 2015, DAR ES SALAAM (Reuters) - Tanzanian security forces have arrested 10 suspected members of the Somali Islamist group al Shabaab in a raid on a mosque and another was lynched by a mob, police said on Wednesday.

Officials said Tanzania was on high alert for al Shabaab attacks after the group claimed an attack on a university in neighboring Kenya this month that killed 148 people.

February 5 2015 - A Somali-American who traveled by bus from Minneapolis to New York City with three other men and then tried to board a flight for the Middle East was charged Thursday in St. Paul with lying to the FBI during a terrorism investigation.

Hamza Ahmed was arrested Thursday morning in the Twin Cities by FBI agents and appeared Thursday afternoon before U.S. magistrate Steven Rau in federal court.
He was ordered into custody pending a detention hearing on Monday. <<<Star Tribune

April 16 2015 - COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man traveled to Syria and trained alongside terrorists, then returned to the U.S. with plans to attack a military base or a prison, according to a federal indictment announced Thursday.

Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud, a U.S. citizen originally from Somalia, wanted to "kill three or four American soldiers execution style," according to the indictment. Attacking the prison was part of a backup plan if that didn't work, the charges said.

The indictment also says Mohamud's brother, Abdifatah Aden, fought with Jabhat al-Nusrah, a State Department-designated terrorist group, until he was killed in battle in Syria in June 2014.

Mohamud, 23, of Columbus was charged with supporting terrorism, supporting the same terrorist group and making a false statement involving international terrorism when he allegedly lied to an Ohio FBI agent by saying he was in Istanbul when authorities say he was in Syria. The government charged Mohamud under the laws most commonly used since the Sept. 11 attacks to prosecute terror suspects. He faces up to 38 years in prison if convicted.

All he will shout about is that all the persons named above are not Muslims.

Which makes me wonder, who's a Muslim? Who's a Christian? Who is who?

@Alps,over to you.

He'll yell on how Human rights are being violated.

But anyway, we need to be pro-active and not react all the time. Is there a way such laws such as the one of "aiding a terrorist" can be introduced? We in Kenya have not even fired the Policeman who aided the black widow into crossing to Somalia. Something is wrong with us

Fight is a word with many meanings and as a verb Fight means -"to oppose the passage or development"

I understand Rusungu is a foreign lingo but now use it in that context.
